Paddling Pilgrims,
By Scophocles (Dallas, Texas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Against the Stream (Paperback)
This is a study based on "young traditionalists" who have converted to Reformed, Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Christianity. It's based on some 30 interviews with these "converts" and explores why they were attracted in these directions against the stream of our "pluralistic consumer society." It provides helpful and compelling data - now somewhat dated - to substantiate what seems to be a slowly growing movement in certain pockets as we move into the 21st century.
