4.0 out of 5 stars Good mystery/adventure game
If you like mystery & adventure games, this should work for you. If you are not fond of 'pixel hunting' or 'suspect questioning' skip this type of game. Different endings from Christie's novels should keep you going to the finish.

1.0 out of 5 stars And then there were none
I have only played one of the two games in the combo pack. I found And Then There Were None to be illogical and annoying. In the game there were things that were, supposedly, needed to progress but the game went on (and you couldn't go back, only start over) even if your progress lacked something. Many of the things you were lead to expect would be needed were just...

In the game there were things that were, supposedly, needed to progress but the game went on (and you couldn't go back, only start over) even if your progress lacked something. Many of the things you were lead to expect would be needed were just stuff to do and not pertenant. Why bother? AND with more than one ending to the game there really was no point. I am reluctant to waste time on the other game.

2.0 out of 5 stars No support - Menu function rarely works, January 25, 2012
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Agatha Christie: Double Murder Combo Pack (CD-ROM)
I received 1 CD - when the install came up it was for Orient Express - it installed without any problem and after installing it started without the CD in the drive.

However, the other 2 games were nowhere to be found.

After searching on the CD itself - I found them:

Attwn - click on setup.exe
(to install 'and then there were none'

Euts - click setup.exe
(to install 'evil under the sun'

However, once I got into the 1st game - there is no way to bring up the menu bar when one wants to exit or save.

the readme file gives keys to use - but they do NOT work.

the only key that sometimes works is the Esp key - but this often times only skips Forward to the next part - sometimes it doesn't work at all - and once in a VERY Rare while it actually brings up the Menu.

There is NO technical support - the site is just an advertisement site that many sites advertise on but no real company that I could find.

One can't save when the menu does finally come up - because by then it has skipped 2 or 3 sections and one can't go back.

Very frustrating.

The 1st game - Orient Express - was a slow start.

One of the first items turned out to be already in the items inventory - so how was I supposed to find it? And when I first picked it up it said no - but then it turned out that was what was needed to be able to get out of that area (the inventory screen, like everything else, only comes up when it feels like it - right click until it does - hopefully).

The game seems interesting, mainly listening to Hercule - with some answers and questions once in a while.
Seems like the character that the player will be is a woman clerk for the train company accompanying Hercule.

My wife and I are fans of adventure games, but ATTWN and MOTOE are sorry excuses for the genre. Much of the game play is tedious, and the puzzles are illogical (although slightly less so in MOTOE). I don't expect we'll be wasting money or time on any future installments.
