The other three reviewers of this game have not entered in to the spirit of this game! It is nothing like the hidden object games. It was never intended to be. This game is BETTER. The graphics are gorgeous although the dialog is a bit stilted it tells the original "Evil Under the Sun" story with new twists and adventures. It is frustrating that more instructions don't come with this game, but that is why the internet was invented! To search for answers! In this case the answer is called a "walkthrough" or maybe a "cheat." All walkthroughs are not created equal, but I found a great one, and had consequently had great fun with the game. I'm glad I discovered and played the three Christie large file games in this order, "And Then There Were None," followed by "Murder on the Orient Express" and last "Evil Under the Sun" because while the graphics were great in all of them, they improved with each new game, and the movements of the characters vastly improved. Plus, the first two stories are set in more grim surroundings, while "Evil" is set on a lovely British island under sunny skies in and around a lovely modern hotel.
I've also played three full length hidden objects Agatha Christie games plus one shorter trial length game, and while they were fun and interesting at the time, these large file games take you into a whole new dimension. I've been looking for other equally pleasant large file mystery games to download, but haven't decided on anything yet. The Agatha Christie games, like the Agatha Christie books, are in a categorie all their own. I don't know how non-Christie fans would perceive any of the Christie games, but I've really enjoyed visiting Agatha Christie's world in all the games. I've read a couple comments in other "Evil Under the Sun" reviews about the game not playing well on Vista, but I haven't had a bit of trouble on mine. I don't know whether there is a problem playing it various processors, but I have come into game playing late and did not buy this computer for games yet all is well.

I have gone through all of the Nancy Drew Adventure games and have enjoyed them so much I was looking for something similar on the market. I found and purchased "Evil Under the Sun" based on reviews indicating it was the most advanced of the Christie games.
I felt that it was fairly well done. There is a bit of cumbersome movement and repetitive steps, but it definitely tied me over until the next Nancy Drew game is being released. I didn't have any trouble at all with the game running loading or running on my computer.

This was a large file and I just can't into the game. It took a bit to download and it's not that easy to move around the various rooms.
