This is overall a great book. There are in-depth walkthroughs of every campaign in the game. It also analizes every civilization in the game and give strenths and weaknesses of each. The only bad things about the book are that it doesn't give many overall stratagies for all civs, and some of the individual civilization stratagies are the same for multiple civs (not very unique). For example it has both the Chinese and the Britons perofrming the Fast Feudal Rush. Other than that the book is great. All the stratagies work and work well.

WELL worth the money. Buy this book!

The book gave what was needed and some more: how to beat each misson with flying colors, detailed descriptions of every civilization, strategies on how to win at multiplayer, and much more. the only down side was that if you buy this the game loses some of its chalenge.

doesnt really have any useful stratigies for deathmatchers(and theres a lot of us out there!) but it covers everything else pretty thoroughly. it's worth it just for the run down on the new civs and the changes to the old ones.

Two> Knowledge is power - info in the net may be diverse but it isn't complete. This book caters to my immediate needs. Three> If your sick of your performance against a 'Hard' skilled computer - I suggest you grab this book. Ages of Empires and Kings is a thinking man's game - it is the new age Chess or Toy Soldier game in full real-time.

For me, the book is like "Bible" to the Age Of Empires II (The Conquerors Edition).And,this book will improve my game.Bought used one from Internationalbooks and gotten gently-used book.The purchased of this book ($5.95), totally worth it, to sums it up.

The reason to buy this book is that the documentation of the Age of Kings game is sometimes inaccurate. (The docs are often written at the same time as the code; if something changes towards release of the product, the docs can be inaccurate.) So for a run-down on the civilizations, the strengths and weakness of the individual units, this book can be useful. You can pick up just as much if not more strategy information from user websites, but this is a convenient compilation.

The game has changed with a significant patch subsequent to release of the Expansion pack, so be aware that this is somewhat dated; reading online gaming sites will give you better strategies overall; however this is a good place to start.

I didn't enjoy this game until I got this book! Well worth the money.

I love this game. You get to use Spain and they even speak Castillian Spanish just like my Grandparents speak it. Really smooth gameplay, Great Online play I could play this game everyday all day for years and not get sick of it. I have been playing it since day one when it came out and I still love it. My only favorite P.C game title I still enjoy. Lots of great stuff in this game. Create own maps, download maps, Create characters, Awesome Map editor with the ability to use triggers. This game rips and always will. Santiago!!! Guerra!!!!
