4.0 out of 5 stars Age of Innocence : Jeffrey Jones a prerafaelite of our time, March 20, 2000
By
Thierry Lancelot (Brussels, Belgium) - See all my reviews
One of the rarest books of the internationnaly acclaimed works of fantasy artist Jeffrey Jones. Active in the field of fantasy art since the sixties, Jones offers his magical paintings to the eye of the beholder and one who can truly admire his art will decifer art nouveau influences. This is most seen in his book Age of Innocence, a tribute to "la femme". Not just a book about painting more than that a book about the lost beauty of feminine innocence. A masterpiece. Be sure to buy the limited edition hardcover signed by the artist with a specialy numbered lithograph.
