A bangin album that unfortunately has a very misleading title and cover: ****1/2, July 3, 2011

If you like real west coast gangsta rap, This cd is for you!!! Due to this being called a 2pac tribute, I ignored this cd for a long while until i heard the smooth and very enticing Summertime on Youtube several months back. Despite its title, This cd has nothing to do with 2pac [other than the obvious 2pac wannabe Lucky Lucciano who's on several tracks]. If you can get past the exploitative title and cover you'll find yourself loving this cd in no time!! While many of the rappers on this cd are unknown and long-forgotten, They all do a good job on here [yes, even the 2pac wannabe Lucky Lucciano]. The production is good and the beats on here are very good and other than the one r&b song, This whole cd is great! The highlights of this album are Gotta Get The Dough [Best song on the cd and it features a good appearance by Coolio], Summertime [Very smooth song that features an appearance by the legendary MC Eiht], Can U Stand The Rain, Murder & Mayhem [BANGING track that features Daz Dillinger], Hatin On Me, Bang Forever [Which features an appearance by Bad Azz], and Footprintz [The rapper on this track sounds very very much like Mystikal but this track goes hard nonetheless]. I have no doubt that the ONLY thing that earned this cd a possible lifetime of being ignored is its title and cover but it's a shame because i'd much rather listen to the stuff on this cd than 90% of the rap music that comes out today! For the extremely cheap prices that this cd goes for here on Amazon, This would be a great buy and is strongly reccomended to west coast rap fans.
