5.0 out of 5 stars Book not for the 'ultra-sensitive' but for those wanting to know the truth of this subject.
I thought this was an excellent book describing the reality of the staunch efforts to immorally reform some of the basic institutions in our society such as marriage and family upbringing. Many individuals are against the author because he talks about these issues as they are. No sugarcoating or `buttering up' these issues. He says it just the way it is. While the attack...

This review is from: The Agenda: The homosexual plan to change America (Paperback)
I honestly didn't know that people such as this author still existed in the modern world. I am now well-informed about how homosexuality initially infected America. Demoralizing and low-paying jobs just naturally lead to homo sex back in the day--everybody knows that, right? I assume the author claims the authority of his own early work experience here. So, does the same principle hold true for folks in the present-day underemployed classes--that they are all queer? If so, there are a lot of breeding queers churning out starving babies. Part of the "Homo Agenda:Tenement Division," no doubt.
And when all those women had to "go to work" during WWII, they were so tempted by the other sweaty, grease-smeared women they worked with that they became lesbos in droves. Because, of course, in pre-WWII, working as a mom for 18 hours a day wasn't really "work." And women were NEVER tempted by the well-groomed women in their sewing circles before they "went to work" during WWII. And a woman who did back-breaking work all day, came home, cooked dinner, fed kids, cleaned the kitchen, bathed and put kids to bed, would OF COURSE have plenty of time and energy to have steamy lesbian sex for dessert.
This guy has some seriously improbable fantasies. And fears! I almost feel sorry for him. Almost.

1.0 out of 5 stars WOW, this is a joke, right?, May 9, 2011
This review is from: The Agenda: The homosexual plan to change America (Paperback)
If the gays have an agenda, how come there are no books on that, yet THESE GUYS are producing and selling books about THEIR agenda????
These are the same type of people who think the Earth is a few thousand years old, and Christ is coming back next month.
Reasoning and actual logic will not work with them.
The American Taliban!
Reality eludes some people.

Don't believe a word of this horribley written book. The book reads like stereo instructions and completely eludes facts, instead catering to the author's own biased opinion of homosexuals.

Homosexuals are no more ready to take over America than Christian's are ready to give up there faith in God. It's an outragous claim and one that should be kept off the shelves of libraries & out of schools to prevent lies from being implanted into the minds of guillible readers.

Horrible book...

is it any wonder there are so many cheap used copies for sale?

5.0 out of 5 stars Book not for the 'ultra-sensitive' but for those wanting to know the truth of this subject., February 23, 2006
This review is from: The Agenda: The homosexual plan to change America (Paperback)
While the attack on traditional values is not a pretty thing, neither should our rendering of the issue be either. Sometimes it's too shocking that a Christian stands up and talks about these issues without backing down. Society is used to Christians as people who are quiet and weak.

One previous review mentioned some type of effort to persuade legislators to advance certain bills in congress. If in fact Sheldon did do what he said he did, as nothing else has been proven, then there is no wrongdoing on his part. Keep in mind the Constitution gives us the right to petition our government. Pro-gay rights group can petition and there's nothing wrong with that but heaven forbid an anti-gay rights group does the same. Just a little too much hypocrisy there.

While another reviewer has commented negatively about this book it should be kept in mind that you can't sugarcoat reality. This book was not written to discuss the peace and love of Christ. This book focuses on the subject at hand, which is the Homosexual Agenda. It's about the actions of anti-traditional values groups. This book describes that movement and their schemes and tactics so be prepared to hear about it. Do not expect their ant-traditional value tactics to be all `peaches and cream'. Many times advocates of the homosexual agenda try to blind individuals by talking about the `peace and love' of Christ, in effect trying to make Christians feel bad about themselves for opposing their lifestyle yet Christ loved all. Yes, Christ did love all, even homosexuals who are still human beings like you I, but of their sinful actions and immoral behavior..... Christ NEVER displayed love for those behaviors. Neither should we. Let's follow that example.

You can never sacrifice the truth out of fear of `offending' people. As long as you're not vulgar or obscene, and as long as you allow people to support an issue you must allow somebody to oppose it as well without fear of reprisal. The most powerful words in our society today are, "I am offended". In this society the mere mentioning of that phrase
by a group will cause that group to demand a public apology, or want policy change, or call for your resignation. Meanwhile that very same group can oppose and protest against traditional values and it's perfectly ok. More hypocrisy there as well.

Yes, I was angered by some of the tactics used by these anti-traditional value groups. One reviewer of this book said if your heart is filled with fear & anger then it's not filled with the peace & love of Christ. Just because you have anger towards something doesn't mean you don't have the love of Christ. Remember, the bible says Christ was angry when he saw people selling goods in the temple, and he chased them out. Unless it consumes you, anger is not wrong.

In all, this is a great book that identifies the homosexual agenda and keeps how to protect you and your family against it. I would recommend it to anyone, either new or seasoned in the subject.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the Book Homosexuals Hope You Never Read, December 6, 2010
This review is from: The Agenda: The homosexual plan to change America (Paperback)
I've learned that there are actually two kinds of homosexuals: those who have absolutely no clue about how destructive this lifestyle is, and those who know, but they simply don't care.

I read several of the reviews here on Amazon that were written about this book, and it's obvious to me that these people either didn't read the book, or they read the book, and they know that what was said is true. They're furious about the truth, and they want you to think you are wasting your time reading this book. (People just don't get angry about what they know is a lie.)

It really is very easy to determine if what Rev. Sheldon is saying is true or not. All you have to do is do your homework and do a little research. After reading How Evil Works: Understanding and Overcoming the Destructive Forces That Are Transforming America by David, Kupelian, as well as a ton of other research, it didn't take me long to realize that Rev. Sheldon is not only telling the truth, but he's right on the money.

As is typical of those who are in the opposition to those of us who oppose this destructive lifestyle, and homosexuals have no position they can defend, all they do is scream louder. They think that if they drown you out that you'll just give up and stop fighting back. Here's the problem with that: there's too much at stake in our society to allow that to happen.

Basically what has happened here is that our society has been hijacked by the one percent of our society who are homosexual, and the goal in life of all of these homosexual organizations is to shut up those who are opposed to them, and make the rest of us go along with them.

Rev. Sheldon exposes all of that and a whole lot more. He shows how homosexuals have infiltrated the school systems, and how they think that our children are their property. Since they can't give birth to future homosexuals, they have to recruit them.

And let's not forget the little section on fisting. Fisting is a practice where you take your fist and ram it up someone's anus. Now I know this sounds graphic, but I want to make a point: you can use science to prove that this is unhealthy and dangerous. (There are certain sexual practices where homosexuals have to be taught how not to kill each other when doing them.)

I live in Atlanta, home to the Center for Disease Control, where I did a lot of research. That's where I found out that homosexual men are 50 times more likely to get AIDs than straight men. And that's just one statistic. Rev. Sheldon quotes tons of others proving how deadly this lifestyle is.

Rev. Sheldon is actually a caring and compassionate man who wants to do what is right for society, as well as helping homosexuals come out of this lifestyle. This book is not only well written, it's very well documented with lots of facts and figures. Facts don't lie.

Here are a few given in the book, and you can easily verify them:

30 percent of men who come to the homosexual lifestyle before they are 20 years old will be dead by the time they are 30.

Most lesbians won't live past 50, and for a man, this lifestyle will cut off about 20 - 25 years from his life. In fact, only about nine percent of homosexuals, both male and female, will live to be 65 or older. For the rest of us, it's about 80 percent.

Even if you use Alfred Kinsey's data, which is notoriously flawed, only about nine percent of homosexuals actually believe they were born this way. (There's no scientific proof that people are born this way, and Rev. Sheldon addresses that too.)

The only propoganda I found was the information put out by homosexuals, and if you want to believe what they say and act on it, know that it could result in premature death.

Read this book and decide for yourself. The bottom line is that, in the end, I feel sorry for homosexuals, but I also believe it's time that we stop catering to them. It's really very sad and pathetic when you can't take criticism, and you don't have any respect for what others say. In the end, sometimes the truth is offensive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why can't sexual practice be personal not public?, May 10, 2009
By
D. May (San Marcos, CA United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: The Agenda: The homosexual plan to change America (Paperback)
This book is shocking but true. It just confirmed what has been running around in my heart and head. It all comes down to sex...getting it with whoever you want, whenever you want and however. People, sex is so base. It is showing a lack of self control and self-restraint.

This has always been what has made America great. We suffered for the greater good. We were willing to wait and postpone pleasure for something as simple as seeing someone else be happy. We earn. We don't spend what we don't have. We hold onto values because it gave us integrity. We cared about our neighbors.

America, you are allowing sex to take over rational thought and your belief in the truth. I know you know the truth, but you have decided to do what is easy and, in essence, given up and give over to your lust for instant gratification.

Say what you will, sex is not the answer. Changing sex is not the answer. Having sex with multiple partners is not the answer. Having sex with your same sex is not the answer. Not having sex is the answer if it is going to be weird. Just stop and see how long you can go without it. See if you find out something greater about yourself. Heck you have only one life to live and you might as well seek what is right.

If you can't restrain yourself from doing something unnatural, like sex up the wrong bodily parts than really the problem is you. You know this is wrong and unnatural. Sex with the same sex is just wrong and totally unnatural. No matter how hard to try to make this seem right. It is simply wrong. Nature is the proof.

I challenge you to try to restrain yourselves. Show self-control and make a choice...one that is different from what you have been doing. Live for something higher than yourself. You know you can. You know you want to. It is easy to give in to temporary feelings. It is easy to stay where you are. It is easy not to do the hard thing.

But why give up such a precious life to so little?

Look this is just all too weird for me. This whole sex, sex and more sex, and sex with whoever, whenever. There is simply nothing good in this free type of lifestyle. It is whimsical, based on whatever wind is blowing and has no stability of the heart, mind or soul. It just wreaks of sadness.

I feel for you if you are homosexual. My heart just grieves for the choice you have made. Ah well, we all make dumb choices. Anyway, I made a ton of dumb choices, but learned that I truly can be forgiven and most of all forgive myself. It is good to be healthy and have healthy thoughts. You can too. If you are out there, today is the day to do a 180, be strong and have a great life!

1.0 out of 5 stars Ding Dong, July 30, 2008
This review is from: The Agenda: The homosexual plan to change America (Paperback)
Ding Dong this is your sanity calling. The first sign to be alerted to is that he author is a Reverend and so therefor by default is automatically bigoted against the subject matter. Its a bit like expecting Nazi to write a balanced opinion on Judaism. Secondly do you really want to take advice on how to educate you children from a man who life is based on blind delusional belief in book of fairy tales about an invisable grand high wizard who lives in the sky and his magical power wielding son who can contort the laws of physics which govern the world in which we live. This book equates to propaganda against homosexuals and is an affront to intelligence. Read The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins instead and clear your mind all bigoted brainwashing.

1.0 out of 5 stars Heartfelt or simply using faith to enrich himself?, October 16, 2005
This review is from: The Agenda: The homosexual plan to change America (Paperback)
According to an October 16, 2005 article in the Washington Post, the author of this book received $25,000 from eLottery in exchange for pressuring Republicans in Congress to kill an anti-gambling bill supported by many conservatives Republicans and Democrats.

"Sheldon said in an interview this week that he recalled little about his efforts against the bill in 2000. He said he did not remember receiving a $25,000 check from eLottery, but added that it is possible that his organization did receive it. He said he remembered some money coming in to pay for fliers he had printed and mailed to congressional districts to persuade members to oppose the bill." -WP October 16, 2005.

Why do I bring this up? Because this book reads (yes I have read it) like a fundraising tract, rather than an honest political statement of faith. In 2000, Sheldon used gambling to raise money. In 2005, he uses homosexuality.

1.0 out of 5 stars A sad confusion of Two Kingdom Theology, September 24, 2005
This review is from: The Agenda: The homosexual plan to change America (Paperback)
As a Christian, I am deeply sadden when the leaders of our church abdicate their roles as Sheppards steering their flock to Christ, in favor or beating some sort of cultural war drum.

This book is very much a "war drum" book with very little evidence of the joy & peace that comes with having Christ in your heart. As a Christian, you read this book and you are filled with fear and with anger. Your whole perspective is consumed with all the things that are of this world--with nary a room for anything about Christ.

Simply put, if your heart is filled with fear & anger then it's not filled with the peace & love of Christ. This is normally the affect of being consumed with the Earthly realm rather then duly focusing on the Heavenly realm. In Sheldon's world, there is no room for Christ.
