This review is from: Agent Cowboy (The Colby Agency, Book 18) (Harlequin Intrigue Series #768) (Mass Market Paperback)
I enjoyed this fast moving story with two intelligent peopletrying to find answers and stay alive at the same time. Kelly works for a highly intelligent man who has made up a code to hide important information against the cartel. Kelly is involved right away in three murders, her best friend, her boss and the special agent. Her boss gives her a tape to keep safe for him. Her friend enters the office. Using the phone she knocks the tape from the desk to the floor. As Kelly bends over to retrieve the tape the friend kicks it under the desk. At that time a shooter comes in the door shooting Kelly's friend and her boss and the agent. He did not know Kelly was there, she is not harmed. But she needs to escape, Kelly is now on the run. Trent Tucker has been sent to guard her and find answers to the killings. Kelly is a smart thinker. She starts to think about this wanting to know the reason why this happen to her. As Trent enters,he finds his talents as a Colby Agent will protect them, as they begin to put the pieces of this puzzle together. |
