a phenominal album,

Richard Kirk is better known as a member of seminal post/punk/industrial turned techno pop outfit Cabaret Voltaire. This solo endeavor tops anything he did with Cab, and I'm a fan. Its basically one long continuous dubby track with beats that waft in and out with the samples, amid a sea of ambient soundscape. absolutely gorgeous, witout being pretentious. I hope he continues in this vien. And Ash Intl. is one of the finest purveyors of ambient music, anything on thier label is worthwhile.

When this comes up in my shuffle rotation, I know I am in for an interesting ride. Like a soundtrack to a film that could not exist.
