Having read Steven Klaper's Agents of Insight several times and really enjoying it time and time again. THE actiona nd adventure of the characters would make a terrific movie given the story line and the types of characters.

I first read "Agents of Insight" in college, when it was released. I thought that perhaps my enthusiastic enjoyment of it was due to an overload of 17th and 18th century plays and novels that semester. But upon sharing it with my friends, found that EVERYONE LOVED IT as much as I did. In fact. I've never found anyone who's read "AOI" that didn't enjoy it.

My question, though, is where is Steven Klaper, and WHY has he written nothing else??

Klaper spins a tale of an immortal psionic secret agent, loose in a world of 2100-ish that is quite difrferent from our own without losing its grounding in reality. When Mollitor, agent of Insight, the psionic secret service, finds agents dying around him in mysterious circumstances he must travel the world and Luna with his partner to find the cause. I enjoyed the very skillful blend of psionic/hard sci-fi and espionage; the book can hold its own in either class

Agents of Insight was one of my favarote books in the 80s. The thoughtful, hard boiled superhero and the overall air of mystery made the novel a terrific read. Why has the author disappeared?
