I was skeptical of this band. I saw them once before 2 or so years ago and I was not impressed. I am always skeptical of bands that are hyped up/play the big fests/etc because usually most are a let down or just a pale image of what they are "supposed to sound like". I got my hands on the STORY OF A FREE MAN 7" and liked it so I checked out this album. This album has sounds which remind me of 90's HC with melodic overtones mixed with crunching guitars in some parts. The vocals match the music perfectly. This is an enjoyable album which can be listend to in it's entirety but it;s not going to change your life. As far as a band in 2008 goes this record is very passable. if you are looking for beat-someone's-head-in hardcore this record is not for you. But if you're looking for emotionally charged HC this is a good find even for someone who is older and jaded on the scene like myself.

Aggression is by far my favorite hardcore band ever.Emotional,fast,heavy and melodic old school hardcore that is done so well.The album is mixed superbly.Everything is heard very well in the mix,and the tone sets the album perfectly.This cd is definitively worth a hear to anyone that loves or appreciates hardcore in its purist form,Melodic.The album title says it all.

These guys are one of the great bands in this genre and Aggression only drives that point home. Emotionally charged hardcore with amazing lyrics and superb songwriting.
