This game is fun when you team up with somebody. With two controllers you can have one person pilot the plane and control the machine gun, while the other person fires the heavy artilery (napalm, various missiles, nuclear bombs, etc) using the other control. The missions have increasing difficulty with various types of enemy planes and ground forces. (There's an Area 51 level with stealth bombers and ufos.) Two players can make better use of all the weapons and make it easier to fire when picking up floating fuel or ammo.

This game is old. 1996 old. So don't expect the graphics to be to phenomenal. But its kinda fun, chaotically destroying enemies, buildings, and mountains to the sound of cheesy heavy metal music. The lame "reward" at the end of the game leads me to believe this is a game intended for boys though.
So throw down [money] and enrich yourself with this classic.

I been purchased the game some years back but it got misplaced.I enjoy the graphics and the explosion, weapons, how you get backup when needed at a certain point in the game. Already have mission 8 or 9 save on my previous memory disk. Thank some much for having this game where I could purchased it again.

This game is awesome fun. It takes you through missions in the jungle against drug runners, Russia in the winter, in the dessert. Lots of differnt sceneios are a lot of fun.

If you are looking for a great game for air-to-air or air-to-ground combat action, keep looking. (Try Ace Combat 2.) This game is really weak. The only two positive things that I can say about it is that (1) there's a "no crash" option which allows my four-year-old to play it with little difficulty, and (2) ...umm (I'll get back to you on two.)
