This debut CD by Elliott Ranney has been in my player all summer long! It's breezy melodies and fine instrumental work are perfect for hot summer days (and it will be a welcome reminder this coming winter). Reminds me a bit of Jobim, a bit of Michael Franks but has original qualities that make it sound like nothing else. Great melodic mellow music!!
