This review is from: The Aging Spine (Paperback)
I actually bought this because I was having to consider surgery on my cervical spine for relief of bad radicular and myeolpathy secondary to a large disc herniation. This book, which has mostly European authors spoke about these and othe spinal problems with more honesty, facts, studies, and authority than any neurologist or neurosrgeon I had ever met in California or Louisiana. It described the surgical approaches and for both anterior a posterior discectomy, pros and cons, and when to operate and when to leave alone. There are also excellent chapters on on spinal anatomy and pathology and metabolic bone disease. An excellent read for any physician or advanced practitioner.
