Big mistake in not looking sooner.

I have had to re-straighten the little axle several times and weld some better axle supports.

It will work for my needs, but it feels like I paid full-price for a used product.

I received my Agri-Fab Dump Cart a little over a week after ordering, excited to assemble it and get working on the yard. The first thing I noticed was the damaged box, lid torn open like a can of sardines, but upon opening, it appeared okay. Further inspection (taking it out of the box) proved otherwise.

There wasn't a piece of metal that wasn't bent, dinged, or crushed. I can't imagine how many times this must have been dropped during shipping. Picture a paper airplane. Or better yet, make one real quick. Now throw it against the wall. Look at the nose of the plane. That's how the corners of the cart pieces were: wrinkled points. Whole sides were bent. I was more than disappointed because I didn't want to go through the hassle of sending it back (I would have had to get a new box, anyway). It's summer. I don't have time for a return and reorder. I need to use this.

So I broke out my rubber mallet and pliers, cushioning them with a rag (so as not to add any NEW scratches), and started bending everything back to where it belonged. I fixed it the best I could, but bolt holes were difficult to match up because of all the bends. It was a pain in the butt.

There was one piece labeled #2, the left rear angle. One of the early steps tells you to put it on. Then the next step tells you to put on two other pieces, also labeled #2. There were NOT three #2's, and what they really meant was part #6. It took me awhile to figure that out, mainly by process of elimination and where the parts went. At the end, they also tell you to use Nut G. By this point in the process, there were no more Nut G's. You really needed Nut F, which there were three left, so that worked out okay.

I bought this last fall. Don't worry about the dents and dings you see from the shipping. Once you put something in it it will be worse. I put some chord wood in it and it dented the bottom and the sides folded over and the tailgate fell off. The tailgate was short lived. I lined the bottom with 1/2" plywood and made a plywood tailgate. This thing has no ground clearance so watch out for pebbles or stumps. I have had to re-straighten the little axle several times and weld some better axle supports. I was hauling some dirt today and one of the tires blew up! I hit nothing. Just blew from putting a little weight in it.
If you only plan on hauling dry leaves on flat even ground this should be a good cart. But don't expect much more from it.

The cart came unassemblied which was okay with me since I like to put things together. It has plastic hubs for the wheels which I did not like and only plastic caps to hold the wheels on (not good). It is easy to put together and for lighter yard work should be no problem.

The cart is light duty. A little disappointed with the tailgate because it is not well supported. Overall it was a fairly good buy for the money. Peeps
