These meeples definitely add fun factor as an addition to the game Agricola. But a minor disappointment was that some of the colors didn't completly match the colors of your other pieces (fences, stables). You could always paint them the correct shade, but it shouldn't be too big of a deal if you are not a perfectionist.

Agricola is most fun with these meeples. We laugh when a player's farmer or child is having the baby (rather than the wife)!

Obviously, you can play Agricola without Meeples, but they give the game some extra character! I find myself saying (or at least thinking): "I will send the wife to get that" or "I will use my kid to pick that up". It's kind of weird how it affects the game. We probably play Agricola an average of once a week but I have played it as often as 5 times in on one day. For you die-hard fans and wannabe fans, buy these now! They are cool!
