About the Author
Dr. Elmer Cooper retired University of Maryland. He taught in public schools for over 17 years including grades 8 through 12 and adults. Dr. Cooper served as State Supervisor of Agriculture/Agribusiness and Renewable Natural Resources in Maryland for four years. He has been a teacher and educator at Virginia Tech and the University of Maryland for 12 years and many outstanding teachers in the field have benefitted from his guidance.
