I was catching rodents regularly in traps set about my property, until I started using Agrid-3. When I found evidence of mice or voles, I would lay a few pellets at the hole or trail. Ever since I started baiting, I've caught very few rodents in the traps, indicating there are fewer rodents around to trap, which I presume is a result of the poison. Keeping the pellets in the holes or specifically on mouse trails helps avoid poisoning non-problem rodents. This poison isn't cheap, but it takes very little to solve the problem, and one tub will probably last the rest of my life.

I will not use any other rodent poison other than the vitamin d-3 based products, because they contain compounds like brodificoum, diphacinone, warfarin, bromadiolone, pindone, diphacinone, diphenadione, or chlorphacinone. Even a small dog can even be poisoned by eating a dead rodent with residual poison in its stomach, let alone cats, hawks and foxes. Vitamin d-3 based products essentially eliminate that problem.
