Good but burns out too fast,
This review is from: 150 watt Bulb White
I used this product on my wife's indoor plants and it worked great, the only problem was that I was replacing bulbs every couple of weeks. That can be expensive at $10 a bulb. There is a 1-year warranty but I am not sure how to go about using it.

I use these bulbs in two lamps. They give very good, bright, full spectrum light but are generally short lived. Sometimes a few weeks, not normally more than 6 months. When they burn out they often break, leaving the base stuck in the fixture.

Burns out incredibly fast. I only use mine for a few hours a day, and I'm lucky to have it last more than a few weeks. I've made sure it's the correct wattage for the light and that we aren't plugged into a bad outlet, etc.
It does produce a good amount of light and my plants enjoy it, but it's not a viable long-term solution for me because fo the cost of replacement bulbs.

What else is there to say? Its a substandard product. Incandescent is not the best lighting for certain plants-
if you are lucky enough to get a bulb that works

Purchased two of these bulbs and both went out in about 2 weeks, Those were replaced by seller and one of the replacements has already gone out. These bulbs are a great item if they would last the year as stated. Calling it quits and looking for a better/less costly method.

Worked for a couple of weeks,

Worked quite well for a short time. I do not think it's worth the $13 every two weeks.

These USED to be good. I had used them for years as supplemental lighting for a bay window full of low light orchids. They used to last about 6 months, still not the one year they "guarantee", but I could live with it. HOWEVER, last year they started to not even last one month. I spoke with varied folks at Hydrofarm, the company that manufactures these, and they said it was due to a "bad batch" and they were aware of the problem. Many months later (the company did send replacement bulbs) the light bulbs are still terrible. If you need an incandescent grow bulb, look elsewhere.

I am just now reordering these light bulbs for my ferns that winter indoors. I used the bulbs for the first time last winter and they lasted from November until April, burning out just about the time I was ready to take the plants back to the poolside. And I kept them on pretty much 24 hours a day. My ferns never looked better. These 150 watt bulbs are far superior to the common brand ones you can buy in a lighting department and I am extremely pleased with them.
