Con canciones inolvidables como "No Podras", "Solo Dame Una Noche", " Para Ti", y "Agua Nueva" Cristian Castro exploto en el escenario latino y hizo historia en la industria rompiendo recordes con una rapidez increible.

Solo tenia 17 anos cuando grabo este disco pero su voz tiene un aspecto suave y sofisticado.Este disco empezo una gran carrera para Cristian que sigue siendo fenomenal.

In response to the music fan from Boston, this is most definitely Christan Castro but the album is not from 1997, it's from 1992 when he was merely 17 years old. Though his voice has improved since then, his voice is still very good on this album and the title track is a fabulous song. This is a bit different type of music from Lo Mejor and Mi Vida. (If your cd says 1997 it is because it is a reprint, if you had an original it would say 1992)

For a debut, is quite good, but compared to later albums, it shows that he wasn't prepared completely, too many tone variations, and also you may notice some differences in the quality of recording between songs. For fans a must buy, for others you may pass it up.

This is currently the only Cristian Castro CD I have, because I haven't much liked anything else he's done since. Some don't really like the CD because the songs aren't as polished as they should have been, but I think they were a lot better than anything he's done since. Besides, I'm sure even Luis Miguel wasn't so polished when he released his first album, and he was younger than Cristian was.

One other thing: If you can find it, try to get the original Fonovisa release of "Agua Nueva." Universal Latino's remastering not only changed the track order, but I went through three separate copies of it, all of which had various digital "pops." I finally managed to find a Fonovisa copy off of ebay.

The CD has easily about 4 very good songs, but its True, Cristians voice on this CD isnt very good (he was only 17). But if your a Cristian fan now you should buy this CD if only to appreciate how much Cristians voice has improved. Few artists can say that they have consistently improved thier voice with each new CD as Cristian can.

It doesn't sound anything like him. The vocals are awful, and do not sound anything like Cristian's voice which is fantastic on his CD's Mi Vida Sin Tu Amor and Lo Mejor De Mi. So I don't know what the deal is here. I think they had another singer actually do the tracks on this CD, and then put Cristian's face on the cover of the CD, unless Cristian got some SERIOUS singing lessons in the span of one year (this CD was in 1997 and Lo Mejor De Mi was in 1998 and is EXQUISITE). This is bad bad bad.
