If the hooks don't grab you, than the lyrical phrases will, January 13, 2006
This review is from: Ah Discordia (Audio CD)
The Good Not only are the rhythms of "We're Sleeping Better Now" infectious, but the chorus is very catchy. "Breakers & Bunsen Burners" employs simple repetitive riffs to create a quite memorable song. The vocals are delivered in that new-punk/emo kind of style, but they don't come off as whiney. Meaty bass lines run rough-shot over "A Brighter Green". The song is a mellow inspirational track. Driving riffs dominate the urgency that's induced by "Mayday." Clean guitar chords and dual vocal harmonies command "Wild Nights & the Aftermath." The Bad Nothing notable The Verdict If the hooks don't grab you, than the lyrical phrases will.

Perfect music for a rainy, sunny, winter or summers day., January 15, 2006

If the Transit War could have read my mind the lyrics to some of their songs came from me. They touch the body and soul and not to mention the raw emotions we often feel. A must have album for the ages. Can't wait for their next one.

Not a bad tune on the CD, November 7, 2006
This review is from: Ah Discordia (Audio CD)
Clean, simple, lyrics + driving tunes make this a winner. It's very high energy and upbeat. There are some interesting musical elements that caught my attention... They frequently make use of an echo singer that is somewhat haunting. They also use multiple singers on the lead, which normally I might find annoying, but it works for them. Their sound is strong and unique... A cross between alternative, punk and rock. I like every song on the disc. I haven't stopped listening to it for the past couple days. I'd rate it as a Very Good effort.

Great Indie rock, October 18, 2006
This review is from: Ah Discordia (Audio CD)
This album is great. First saw these guys on Warped Tour 2005 and picked up this album the next time they came through Denver. Catchy, great hooks, guitar riffs, it's all there. With 3 of the members singing lead at times, it brings a powerful and diverse element to the CD. Stage presence is always amazing so check them out if they come to a town near you. bad thing to this album, only 8 songs.

An album for the ages? Clearly written by a familliar of the band. I some them by accident in a concert featuring Aphasia. I was immidiately won over by ther stage presence and energy. Great live act. There music is pretty good. If they can build from here who knows?
