Higly recomended if you have a pair of Ahead stix.

I put the tape on almost a year ago and it performs just like day one!

Keeps stick firmly in hand.

Felt a bit big and cumbersome at first but I quickly adjusted.

This product is really a good addition to ahead drumsticks or any drumstick, making the grip more good and also reducing some damage to your hands when you play alot fast music, the only downside is putting them on... you gotta have fun, took me several tries to get it to the "right" spot.

just recieved this product and let me tell you, have fun putting it on. i have no idea how to do it and the instructions are useless. they dont tell you which end to start with or how to secure it when youre done. the wide end that it looks like you SHOULD start with has no way to secure it when you start to wrap it. the kit comes with two skinny stickers that say ahead so i used them to "tape" the end to the stick and there is an adhesive spot on the other end which holds it when done. maybe ahead should produse "grippy" handled sticks. i bought the metallica aluminum sticks which are awesome but i kept throwing them. very slippery. ahead should make sticks like that with tape type surface as part of the stick. otherwise the only time i ever drop one now is when my hands get too tired. then its time to take a break. definately recommend

Ahead grip tape, although costing a little more than Vater grip tape, seems to last longer, is more durable and still makes a decently 'loud-enough' rimclick sound when the butt end of the stick is played against the rim. Additionally, although each package only covers 1 pair of sticks, I think the product, for it's price, is well worth the cost. I definitely recommend it if you have slipping issues or you are dropping sticks. It also does not leave a sticky 'feel' on the hands while/after playing. Another good reason to use this product is to save your hands if you need to play extremely hard-loud, but don't want to get callouses and blisters. 4 out of 5 stars and 2 uncallouGrip Tapesed unblistered THUMBS UP for Ahead grip tape!

I love the feel of the ahead sticks, but had issues with keeping them in my hands when playing fast music lol. So found these online, gave them a try and now i can't imagine playing without this tape. Also the grip tape helps my accuracy. Great product, definitely buy if you are using the Ahead sticks.
