Grade 2-4-The Secret Seven Society is in danger of closing if they don't take action soon. This coed, school-aged group of seven involve themselves in things mysterious and practice the art of investigation. While working on their shadowing skills, the group happens upon a dognapping scheme, and they're off on a mission of danger and intrigue. The Secret Seven series was originally introduced in Britain in the 1950's. Kids will accept Sarah Greene's clear narration in full British accent. Only a few British expressions will be unfamiliar to American listeners. This title was originally published in the U.S. as The Secret Seven Get Their Man. This is a fun title in the tradition of great childhood sleuths.

Enid Blyton died in 1968 but remains one of the best-known and best-loved writers of children's stories. She is consistently voted a children's favourite in author polls.
