5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing
Mr Muhammad Zafrulla Khan presents a very clear picture of Ahmadiyyat. He starts with the history of the movement and then puts its teachings in different chapters in the founder's own words. This book is a must read. Mr Zafrulla Khan was a very scholarly figure both in the field of Islam and Political scene of the world. He has been on posts like Foreign minister of...

He has been on posts like Foreign minister of Pakistan, Judge of the International Court of Justice, President of the United states General Assembly etc. And some glimpse of his wisdom can be seen by reading this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars True Words..., December 19, 2004
This review is from: Ahmadiyyat: The renaissance of Islam (Hardcover)
a Fantstic book to say the very least, but i am writing this review to clear any misunderstanding made by Mr. 'A.Imam'

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad never, ever, ever, ever claimed to b the imncarnation of God in any way whatsoever, such a view was abhorred by him completely, to say what A.Imam has said is a lie, i know this for a fact for i like the other 200 million people am a follower of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, so i have the fullest confidence that you will realise (the reader) that i know far more the 'A.Imam' about this topic of whether Ghulam Ahmad claimed 2 b an incarnation of God or not.

1.0 out of 5 stars On the Ahmadiyya Movement, December 3, 2000

This review is from: Ahmadiyyat: The renaissance of Islam (Hardcover)
To the non-Muslim readers of this translation: In the eyes of the Muslims of the world, the Ahmadiyya (also known as Qadiani or Ahmadi) is a religion separate and distinct from Islam. This is so because the founder of this religion, Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani, claimed to be a Prophet of God, and the reincarnation of the Hindu god Krishna and to be the Promised Messiah.

In Islam, neither is there room for any Prophet after Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (Peace be upon him), nor can any human being be the incarnation of God. Also, in Islam, there is no room for any other God apart from the God of Noah and Abraham and all the monotheistic prophets (Peace be upon them all), and that one God is known in Arabic as Allah: *The* God. Thus, to the Muslim, there is no such deity as Krishna (or, for that matter, Zeus, Jupiter, Ahura-Mazda or Rama), nor can anyone be a Prophet of God after Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (Peace be upon him).

Therefore, the reviewer Adil Osman's claim that this translation represents Islam in its true form is not the sentiment of the Muslim readership.

Sincerely,

A. Imam.

1.0 out of 5 stars An absurd account, June 14, 2001

This review is from: Ahmadiyyat: The renaissance of Islam (Hardcover)
I have found this book very broing unreliable and a complete waste of time. No sooner had i started reading this book but i discovered the author had absoultely now idea or grasping of the subject at hand. I believe he needs to sit a rethink what it is he is trying to say because i does little more than confuse the reader. i have to regretfully state that the purchasing of this book was an extremely poor investment on my part.Mr Khan the author of this book is not qualified any shape or form to talk about this subject, he is not academic, scholar and does not fall into the maintstream orthodox muslim community and as such does not give even a remotely close rendition of his account. I am surprised that anyone deemed it fit to publish such a 'book'
