Product Description
In late summer the kitchen garden of every Ligurian home brims with fresh, sweet basil. More than once Ive watched my friends there turn their fragrant harvest into a spicy, mouth-watering Pesto, which they make by hand. The mortar and pestle gave this garlicky sauce its name. Thats what I had in mind when I first made this sausage using chicken and turkey and the same great basil, olive oil and garlic that fill the summer air of a hundred towns and villages from Portofino to Genoa. What I love most about my Pesto Sausage is how little effort is required to make a simple Pesto-infused meal.

Pesto Is the BEST of Aidells, but they Discontinued it!!,

This Pesto sausage is THE most versatile meat I've ever used. I used to buy 10-15 packs at a time and keep them in the freezer. Eggs, soups, pasta sauces, and wonderful just plain. They are precooked so all you have to do is warm. Perfect for RV travel. I just ordered more, and was told by the Aidell's rep that they are no longer making the Pesto. Typical....they come up with a winner, and decide to discontinue it!!!!!!! go figure.
