I think Amazon is a great place to buy college books. you save a lot of money and the books are like new. plus they will buy them back when your finished with them.

The book was in great condition. There was some wear and tear but nothing major and nothing to take away from using the book.

Good product, arrived ahead of schedule, and in new condition as advertised by seller. Overall I experience no problems.

Do not buy from this person. Never received the book. I sent many emails. Never replied to them. Bad business. I had to buy another book. Absolutely horrible.

The fact that I had to purchase this book is lamentable. I do not enjoy Biology in the least. However the book is very nice, arrived quickly and in good shape. Great service, great product.

My book was shipped fast adn arrived in almost new condition! Saved me lots of $$!

Biology Today and Tomorrow with Physiology by Starr and Evers is visually attractive, but the print is small and the explanations are somewhat confusing at times. They would have done much better by focusing more on the textual content instead of all the great big photos, diagrams, and animation features. The limited text means the authors had to cut some explanations down to a bare minimum and hope the student "figures" it all out in the end.
There are a lot of other better textbooks out there, but this one is OK if you want a lot of nice photos with your reading.

My BIO-100 (Intro to Biology) class required to have me buy this book. I person have enjoyed reading the book despite it being a textbook. I especial liked it's layout of the information and how the vocabulary is in bold print making it easy to quickly scan the book and glimmed most the information I needed. I don't plan on sell my book back after this class it is easy enough to read that I plan on keeping it as a ref. book

This is the most basic biology book you can find. This is more a book for personal enrichment.

I thought that this was the book I needed for class but it turned out that the used book does not come with the code for aplia, the online assignment service for this book. My biology class does all of its assignments through the aplia crap, and this made it so that in addition to the $50 I spent on this book, I ended up having to buy an aplia code, which costs $70 dollars. Not happy.
