Aims 2500-5000 watt inverter trash, April 1, 2011
This review is from: Aims 2500 Watt DC to AC Power Inverter
We bought this inverter to run our well pump, which requires 2000 watts start up power. Well, it can't run our well pump. And we have kept it to run lights (fluorescent) and it seems to run down the batteries quick. Even just trying to run 200 watts at night for an incubator for goats, off 7 marine batteries, it just must have something wrong with the wiring design. I have found that a LOT in the inverters we have bought. We think we are saving money and getting a good deal, only to find out these things don't put out what they are advertised to put out. Now this inverter should handle a 600 watt power saw no problem. Forget it! This inverter shuts down 2 inches through a 2 X 4. Trash!
