joe tex carried a life time of music charisma of funk unlike any other artist during his era. No one could entertain and mesmorize an audience the way he did; with joy and laughter; yet so serious at his work. An entertainer of entertainers.

Joe Tex is one of the best ever. He never got the credit he deserved for the innovations he made. This is a wonderful collection.
