5.0 out of 5 stars completely blown away!
My general taste is more Coil through Brian Eno to Phillip Glass. However, credit where it's due. This is undoubtedly one of the best pop records that I've heard in years. For one thing, the sample that drives this track (and by Christ - it really drives it!) is inspired. On top of that, the vocal rips through the whole thing like a bomb. Y'know, I've never given a...

2.0 out of 5 stars What a gay song?
I really like the old jazz sound but i get annoyed with her oversinging every word. Plus, this song is so freakin' gay. Title of song Ain't No Other Man ok. I'm gay but i still wouldn't be caught dead listening to this average song. It's like the gay titled Hillary Duff movie The Perfect Man. Come on. Don't business marketing reps with fancy degrees know anything abou...

Y'know, I've never given a single thought to this woman's output but now, after hearing this...well...no matter if anything else she's done deserves the attention, this deserves to be acclaimed. Brilliant - simply brilliant. A pinnacle single from 2006. What pop music ought to be if it was made in a better dimension.

5.0 out of 5 stars Diva in love, August 8, 2010

After marrying her longtime boyfriend Jordan Bratman in the fall of 2005, everything in Christina Aguilera's life was looking up. Her last record Stripped was a dark affair with songs centered around the domestic abuse inflicted upon her mother by her father, childhood bullying, and low self-esteem.

The debut single Ain't No Other Man from 2006's Back To Basics focused on her newfound love with a jazz meets hip-hop production. Backed by exuberant horns and a sample of a woman sassily encouraging Christina to "do yo thang, honey!", the Dirrty one lets loose and riffs about how much of a force her hubby is in her life. Jordan must be some kinda man to make Xtina declare "You got soul, you got class/You got style with you're bad ass/Ain't no other man its true/Ain't no other man but you!" Almost 5 years later and they're still kickin'. Aww, love. Ain't it grand?

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb first new single from Christina, August 8, 2006

If all songs are as good as "Ain't No Other Man" on Christina Aguilera's new double-album then it will surely become a classic. It has always ticked me off that Christina is lumped into the same genre as the likes of Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson, because while these second-rate "singers" are busy using digital enhancements and other studio tricks to make them sound better, Christina uses raw genuine talent alone.

So it's no surprise that I give my full recommendation for this single. I'm not sure which version Amazon has here but the one I have actually has 4 tracks:

1) Main Version

2) Jake Ridley Remix

3) Ospina & Sullivan Remix

4) Acappella Version

Tracks 1 and 4 are basically the same song with the difference of course being that track 4 only has Christina's vocals and no music. Tracks 2 and 3 are the typical dance/club versions that are always found on singles. I would say that both do the song justice although I like track 3 better.

A must-have single for any Christina fan. Can't wait for her album next week.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Voice and nice beat, September 10, 2006

Christina , I believe, has done it again. Yet another hit. However you can only listen to this song so many times before you get annoyed by her voice. Don't get me wrong Christina has an awsome voice, it's just like with most female singers that pitch high notes, one can only take so much.

Be aware this CD of Ain't no other man has only two tracks. The actual song and instrumental. Still worth buying if you are a fan of Christina's music!

Don't business marketing reps with fancy degrees know anything abou marketing a name to a tangible or intangible product. This song isn't that catchy anyways. I'll stick with Xtina's Beautiful Valentin and Peter Rauhofer club mixes from 3 years ago.
