Texas Rock and Blues...that's the genre.

This is enjoyable music by a pair of Arizona sisters, with a Latin twist. I first saw them at a forgettable company barbecue in Houston...too many people snarfing down chicken fajitas and green slushies (margaritas, I think)...I couldn't believe they weren't listening. Bluejeans, white t-shirts and black Ray-Bans...a great package. Class act, and cute.

They deserve more press and fame...good country, tight vocals, soul...enjoyed by my whole family, including my 14-year old daughter (must be pretty good). I think they can do whatever Nashville wants...give it a try. I hope they hit it big...it's only fair.

4.0 out of 5 stars A very good CD, November 12, 2010

My favorites are Noche de Ronda and The Storm. All the others (except the title song) are good. Why in the world are they not pop culture queens on the cover of People magazine?

Sisters Morales presents a wide variety of enjoyable genres in their music, paired with flawless interwoven harmonies. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of their albums, but "Ain't not Perfect Diamond" represented the real turn for them from an unpolished group to a cohesive unit of professionals.

This album, as well as "Para Gloria" are fantastic works for anyone interested in the Country/Salsa fusion experience usually found in border states. It would be hard not to enjoy this lively - and at times, moving - cascade of delightful sound.
