Okay, I admit, it was a complete waste of money on what amounts to be an amusing little animation that contributes nothing to the gameplay itself (you can't even use it in any areas where killing creatures is an option) but what the heck: it amuses me, and the only other way to get it is to spend fifty-plus dollars on a game I don't even want.

Be advised, though: it doesn't do anything to your character that is useful on a gameplay level. It's purely asthetic.

Guess what game I just bought? *sigh* Anyone wanna buy an Aion Wings Emote?

Cute little item and cheap, except the shipping cost.

Their posted shipping rates state:

Standard Shipping within Continental US for Books, Music, Video and DVD
Estimated Delivery: 4 - 14 business days
Shipping Rates: $2.98 - $3.99 per item

So why is this item 6.99 for shipping?

Was just as advertised. I bought one for me and my friends and each came together arrived in good time. They were unused and worked perfectly. However, I do feel that the shipping cost was way excessive, considering I don't remember the last time it cost [...] to mail three really thin pieces of paper in a regular envelope, other then that everything was perfect.

If you like the emotes in Guild Wars and want more then you just gotta get this emote.

It is what it is, an emote for guild wars characters.It's nice to be able now to buy the emote without haveing to buy the aion game.

Even though everyone else in Guild Wars seems to have them, these wings are still so much fun to use. Once I used mine in the middle of a crowd, and then suddenly everyone was flapping around. It made standing around fun.

I even think the wings are actually usable in explorable areas as well, but except for special occasions, there wouldn't really be much point for doing so.

its exactly as described. its an Aion wings emote for GW. Pretty neat emote. I just wish there was some way to make it last longer, but meh!

im a GW junky its true this emote does nothing for game play but if you play GW alot you will notice alot of people stand around in outposts so its kind of cool to have an emote not every one has I am happy I got my wings

The Aion Wings that I purchased was more than I expected, I am very happy with the wings and the price was very reasonable. I received them within 3 days, they added alot of fun and I am very pleased with the Aion wings. I would give them a 5 star. Thank You Amazon.com

This is just an add on to the Guild Wars game, yes it's pricy for an emote and the shipping is nuts. I however got this for my wife and she enjoys it greatly despite it being short lived only lasting a few seconds.
