I use this as a bellows for our fireplace, and it blows plenty of air! Very handy item.

It does what it says! It blows a constant and concentrated stream of air right where you need it. I lost the attachments in my fire and they melted:( Also, after about a month, the air grill inflator started making a really loud noise while operating. Overall, recommended for anyone with a wood stove!

My sister bought one of these for me for Christmas. She bought one for river trips and camping. This has become such a useful tool for starting a fire and keeping it stoked and roaring. Just fun to use. Save your lungs and get one of these. They also have the executive model which looks a little too fancy for my tastes. ha.

Works (mostly) as advertised,

Does a good job of stoking the fire. Does a passable job as a pump for inflatables, but a battery pump does a faster job. The construction is fairly sturdy. Keeping a steady flow takes some practice; the handle tends to get away from you and smack you in the hand, although mostly when you really get cranking. All in all, a good value for the money.

Does the job fairly well. It's a little weaker than I had hoped and insanely noisy, but its better than blowing your lungs out. I'll add that the metal tube was unattached during shipping as the glue holding it on was extremely dry.

Another great gift,

This was a great addition to my husband's wood stove needs. It works wonderfully and has many benefits such as using it to inflate things around the house. It will also be useful for camping with our son!

When I first seen this product I got excited, but unfortunately it turned out to be nothing but a big disappointment.I bought this grill inflator to use on a wood burning stove in my home. I figured it would work similar if not better than a wood below, it does of course work, but the con's just out-way the pro's. pro's- It blows a nice steady stream of air. con's- This thing is ridiculously loud, even if you barely spin it at all, and trust me you don't want to spin it quickly, when spun at a decent pace the loudness can literally and accurately be compared to a power drill. The plastic tips... why would you put plastic tips on any device that is used for fires.. epic fail ________________________ It probably is suitable for outdoor bbq use, but I would not recommend this to anyone for frequent indoor woodstove use. If I was to use this product at night even for a split second it would wake everyone in my home and probably the neighbors too.

Useless as an inflator, VERY LOUD as a bellows,

I'm returning this for a refund for three reasons:First: This will NOT inflate anything 100%. Air will start to back up and blow out the intake just as soon as what you're trying to inflate builds up even a little pressure - when it gets to about 60-75% inflated. You will then need to switch to a REAL pump to finish off, probably losing a lot of air while doing so. TOTAL waste of effort and time, it's best just to use an actual foot pump, etc. Second: Yes, it works *somewhat* as a bellows, but it doesn't blow out air hard enough to be worth bringing. You'd get just as good results waving a book-sized piece of cardboard at your fire. Third: It makes an EXTREMELY loud whirring/grinding sound while you're cranking the handle. I would hate to see the looks on other campers' faces when you break out this REALLY NOISY contraption. At least it will be loud enough that you won't hear them laughing and/or cursing at you.
