5.0 out of 5 stars Be a kid again
This light weight Apache helicopter is loads of fun. I was impressed how fast you are able to use it out of the package. My daughter and I enjoy keeping the counter top safe from the enemy,(Checkers) the family cat. It's
light weight and easy to control, would buy again.

3.0 out of 5 stars RC HELICOPTER
Great fun but for the price it didn't last long. After a couple of weeks the battery wouldn't charge. I bought a $15 one at the same time. Just as much fun and it's still flying.

The AH-64 Apache Havov from Air Hogs is a nice little helicopter, for indoor flying.it takes some time to master but once you do is loads of fun! This little heli is surpriseingly sturdy and can take lots of crashes and keep on flying. I highly recomend this product!

My grandson had indicated this is what he wanted for his birthday but I was reluctant to purchase it for him because it looked like it may be too difficult for him to operate. Boy was I wrong! Within five minutes after he got it out of the box and charged up, he was flying around the living room like a pro. He so impressed his older brother -- now I have to buy more for Christmas for almost everyone who was in the room including his 19-year-old cousin. I would recommend this toy for anyone between the age 07 to 70.

Very Impressed with this toy, had it flying in the office and the whole office stopped what they were doing to see it fly. I had a CSM stop by and try it out for five seconds and he became a kid again. It trully brings out the child in you. From what I have experience with the helicopter it's very durable, its been hitting walls, wires and even people and it still flies. If for some reason it broke, I would buy another one, very happy with this small investment.

The helicopter is a lot of fun. I probably have as much fun with it as the kids. Just make sure who you buy it from. I bought it from Family Fun Shoppe here on Amazon for close to $100 with shipping. When I received it, it had a Target tag on it, and costs $25 at Target. They bought it at Target for $25, and sold Amazon for $88. Reading Family Fun Shoppes reviews....they do quite a bit of gouging.
Getting back to the helicopter....it's definitely worth $25!!

I purchased this for my 12 yr old son and he loves it! Within a few minutes he had it in the air and flying. After 24 hours he's mastered slow spirals, circling, landing, and other maneuvers. The helicopter is very small and lightweight, so my house is fairly safe from destruction, but durable enough to withstand crashes and mishaps. I can't believe how easy it is to fly! Now my husband wants one too.

Be sure to buy 6 AA batteries.

After much research I purchased this copter for my 5 year old son for Christmas. Based on another Amazon cusotmer's review I thought it would work well for us. This is a challenging little helicopter to fly but provides a great deal of fun. It runs about 10 minutes on one charge and is durable when it crashes (which it will do frequently until you get a handle on the throttle). It requres little to no set up other than putting batteries in the remote control and then plugging the copter into a small wire from the remote to charge it. It was easy to use after some minor flight tweaking. My five year old was able to get it to hover and land after some practice (2hrs) and was not frustrated by the challenge. Great product so far and very fun to fly. It does not rocket off in any direction but does slowly fly forward once you get the tail rotor to counter the circular force of the main blades. It is hard to fly it straight but it still a ball to try to take off and land from the same spot. It does require adult supervision in my opinion as it could be easily broken by a child trying to launch it from a tipped over position on the floor :-). Use for traning before buying a bigger R/C.

When i bought this product for my son, it worked fine. it was easy to control, and was very durable. However, 6 hours later the helicopter would not charge for more than 10 seconds. So i bought another one, the same kind as before, and the helicopter could not fly strait after 2 hours. my friends son has the other air hogs havoc, which has white and blue on it. the link is right here: Spinmaster Air Hogs Havoc Heli (Colors May Vary)it has a longer battery, and it much more durable. in conclusion, DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! you might as well buy a better helicopter for less money!

I purchased this for my son's 9th birthday. He was thrilled to finally have a R/C toy. For the first hours, everything pointed in the direction that this was the perfect toy. Then, he came to me and told me that the copter would not quite spining out of control. After removing hair from the tail motor, the unit seem to be back in business. This only laster for about another 30 minutes, when he came to me with a broken tail rotor. They give extras, so 5 minutes later he was flying again for about 30 minutes, then something else went wrong. After 3 major shut downs, I decided that he was just being to abusive to the device. So, I took it over and tried to play with it. After an attempt to gain control of the unit, I realized that this toy had a destiny just to "break".

I returned it to Target and exchanged it for another one. We got about 3 days of usage out of this one, but the same problems occured. After returning it for the 3rd copter, it seems that this one may make it more than 3 days, but I have already had to glue the rear "support" and replace the tail rotor. I'm at the point now, where you get what you paid for, and this toy is only designed for "in frequent" usage and a room without furniture!

Be careful when buying. I recommend it, but with caution!
