The software installed just fine - the pc was able to recognize the joystick but I was unable to get the software to recognize the joystick. The software is more of a cheap game rather than r/c flight instruction. It's ok for kids to play with but I wouldn't recommend for adults - after 2 minutes of playing you wonder why you bought it. However, I got it for about $5 online so I guess I can't complain.
