This is an awesome toy [....], its the second of its kind that I have bought from the Air Hogs Corporation. The only bad thing about this particular model is the landing gear is weak plastic wiring that bends easily and makes landing and ground take offs difficult. I highly recommend the model that looks like a regular helicopter over the one that resembles an insect.

Purchased this item for my son he played with it for 3 hrs then it broke. I was very disapointed with this item. It is very week and as soon as it crashes 1 time its done. To put it in plain english...NOT WORTH IT.

My son asked Santa for the Air Hogs Stinger for Christmas. He was super excited to see that Santa had delivered and was very eager to try it out. It did fly, however, it is extremely fragile and any good bump to a wall can cause major damage. My son takes pretty good care of his toys and unfortunately, this was broken in just a few days of normal play.

It provide a lot of laughs and was fun for both the kids and adults... but it didn't last long... a couple of days before it broke. But it was cool while it lasted.

What can I say, it works well, charges quickly and takes a beating. The unit takes a short time to recharge and has a reasonable operating period. After just a little practice, you should find it easy to operate and manuever. I've flown it straight into walls with no damage. It moves precisely and is quiet. Haven't tried it outside yet, but I don't foresee any less pleasure in store. It's very habit forming!

Amazon service is great, this toy however was terribly made, did not live up to advertisement hype. I would not reccomend this toy at all. I think my boy's had all of 3 minutes before it failed to operate at all. Thanks.

I got this for my 10 yo son who was asking for it for a long time. It is a fun flying toy that requires a certain amount of skill and finesse to fly it, which my son was developing. Problem is that it breaks easily. The red part came off at one point and we have glued back together. Does not always charge. Nonetheless-- it's lasted longer than most flying toys we've had-- my expectations for longevity were not high! Buy it if you don't expect it to last more than 1 - 2 months

Purchased this for my 10-year old son. It took him awhile to get the hang of 'hovering,' but once he figured that out he's had a blast with it.

I bought this same product last year because the kids had so much fun with it. This one was for my husband and he loves it. We bought three total so everyone can fly at once, as long as the frequencies are not the same. That is luck of the draw if you order them at the same time.

I bought a couple of these a year ago as Christmas gifts for my kids (7 & 11). Let's just say these are not JUST for kids. Every grown man in the house that Christmas had to fly these. I'm not sure the kids got a chance on Christmas Day to fly them at all. After a year the first two that I bought still worked, but had some wear and tear. I bought another one this Christmas because the on/off button on one of the stingers finally gave out and fell off. I will admit it had had quite a workout in one year's time. But we could no longer find a way to turn it on without the button. We did have to change out a little rear propeller every so often, but they send you extras with your order. Another small difficultly is hair and dust collecting in the rod that holds the propellers. You have to clear them out when your hog starts flying funny. You also have to beware of the color choices you make. The yellow and black ones are both on channel A and can't be used at the same time. The Blue one is Channel B. I have not found one that is Channel C, yet. Despite that, everyone in my house still enjoys flying these toys a full year later. By the way, our cats love them too!!!
