I was really excited to get a R/C Helicopter. The were either on a string or wire as a kid. I watched them fly online and it looked easy. Boy was I wrong, all it would do is rise of the ground and dive to the left. I tried and tried the trim but it made no difference. I read tons of reviews and found many people had the same problem so I returned it. I do plan to try a different style to see if it works any better. Still a kid a heart.

Fun Indoor Heli Flight At Its Best,

I bought my Air Hogs Havoc Razor because I had never seen any other Air Hog like this before (I needed an indoor heli), and because I love helis. On first flight I was impressed as it does glide on the ground (NOTE: carpets and segmented tile aren't good ground flight surfaces), and this is the first Havoc heli that I have owned that actually hums... as close as something this size could get to the "whop, whop" of a real helicopter. This is an intermediate skill heli since it is harder to fly due to the dual ground and air functionality. I love this chopper!

Fun - but very difficult to fly - bought two and one is more nose weighted so it seems to want to move forward - the other is more neutrally weighted - so it hovers well but does not go forward well.More practice is called for - in a more open area.

Bought the Havoc Razor for my 16 year old for Xmas. The first day flying was difficult and the helicopter crashed a lot because the controls are sensitive and one tends to let off of the power which causes it to fall quickly. Once he had more time to practice, it can be controlled fairly accurately. Note: this unit will not work outdoors because the razor loses the signal from the controller, but the packaging does state it is for indoor use. Also, I would recommend putting some nail polish on the nose of the Razor to help protect it sense it tends to get banged up there because its styrofoam. Overall, my son has great fun with it.

This toy is not appropriate for most children. It is very difficult to fly and requires the patience of an angle. It is also not very durable as my kid ruined a blade in about 30 seconds as he flew it hard into a wall. Believe me, kids will fly these into walls when learning and they will break. Last, the thing only flys for about 3-5 minutes then you must re-charge for 20-30 minutes. What fun is that? A "big kid" or adult can eventually learn to fly this, but then the thrill only lasts a minute then your back to the charger. This is basically junk. If you can buy for about $5, then maybe it is worth it. Otherwise, steer clear.
