Flies great once it is trimmed out for a wide right circle.steering left too long tends to spin it down out of the air.

I had alot of fun with my helicopter, but I think our cats enjoyed it more! They would chase this thing all over the house and smack it whenever they could. It took quite a few beatings until it could no longer fly, but for human entertainment, it was great.. but on our cats end, this thing cannot be topped.

This product is designed for kids older than 8. However, It's quite a safe toy for young kids with proper supervision. My 4-year-old son loves it so much and It's still working now. Amazing!:)

It was fun until it lasted... very delicate... a few crashes and now it doesn't fly any more.
even a slight shape change can effect it it's take off/flying.

Good buy for money but be very careful.

Harder to learn to fly this than I thought it would be. Two to control directions; up and down and right/left. Still, hard to beat for the price!!

I picked this helicopter as a gift for my older brother (30), who loves all things mechanical. I had heard from a friend that it was fun, so I figured why not. Huge hit. You will need some space to really appreciate this toy's capability at first. Initially, it can be frustrating to get it flying just right without crashing every couple seconds, so don't try it inside. Once you get the hang of it, though, it's pretty cool.

My 9-year-old son had little trouble figuring out how to fly this, but its flight control is limited--it's not like a "real" R/C helicopter in that this one will likely only fly up and down or in circles. Because of the very imprecise way it's made, if you're able to actually fly it around the rooms of a house with good control it'll be because you got lucky with a unit that is warped, bent, tilted, etc. in just the right way.

With this model in particular (the one that looks like a bug as opposed to a normal helo) it may be difficult to take off from a fibrous surface like carpet or a fabric-upholstered sofa as the little "legs" will "stick" to the fibres. Beware it will also likely freak out people who are averse to insects.

That all being said, it is a lot of fun for kids and adults to fly (or try to fly). The remote requires like five or six AA batteries which is insane, but the remote charges the helicopter and it will fly for several minutes straight on a full charge. Note that although the remote can transmit on three channels, the helo itself only receives on one of them. So don't buy two set to the same channel!

I purchased several of these for Christmas gifts, My Husband, and my Grandson. My Husband & Grandson have had several hours of fun on Christmas day with these gifts. However, My Grandson who is 4 loved to just make his crash into anything & everything, Well his only lasted one day. But was well worth the $10 and didn't destory paint on the walls or ceiling. He was heartbroken, he has since tried every tactic to sweet talk my husband into giving his up." I won't destroy it Papa". :0) I would buy again at that price but not much more than that.

I bought this helicopter for some (adult) kid fun and even for adults it takes some practice! It has taken many crashes and bumps too but is still running. I honestly don't think I would buy it for someone less than 8 or 9 years old or for adults with no patience because as I said, it DOES take practice! So if you're expecting to be in full control right away forget it cuz it "ain't" gonna happen.......BUT, it IS fun trying just the same.

Loads of fun! The kids couldn't stop playing with them (even though they crashed them a lot.) Battery charge lasts between 10 and 15 minutes before having to be recharged BUT it is easy and only uses AA Batteries. No cords to be lost or tripped over. Bought 2 for the nephews (15 & 13) and 1 for myself (39) - yeah - they are fun for everyone!
