I recently saw the TV version of this show on the Discovery channel. The one hour documentary is filmed in South Africa off of Seal Island where South African fur seals congregate each winter. With the seals come the great white sharks. The great white sharks create a 'ring of death' around the island where they actively hunt the fur seals as the come and go from the island. For years fisherman and more recently scientists have observed the phenomenon of sharks 'breaching' or breaking the the surface of the chilly waters to pursue the fur seals. The show primarily focuses on a group of scientists' attempt to understand why the breaching takes place here - great whites have never been observed displaying this type of behavior in any other parts of the world. I really enjoyed this video because it is very impressive to view 14-18 foot sharks agressively feeding and jumping the waters to persue their prey. To me the main attraction to this video is that it is very different from every other great white shark documentary that I've ever seen - it's not just a bunch of footage of a great white attacking a shark cage or feeding off of a huge slab of meat tied to the side of a boat or interviews of shark attach survivors - this is the great white hunting in a natural habitat performing an extaordinary behavior. I strongly recommend for this video for anybody into watching sharks or the discovery channel.

This movie is one of most interesting I have ever seen. Seeing these huge scary animals hurl themselves out of the water is one of the most amazing things nature has to offer. One of the most interesting things is the part when the dead whale enters the area that the team is studying. That proves to be some of the most unique and exciting footage ever shot of these incredible animals. I would recommend this film to anyone who has interest in these sharks. I have seen a lot of documentaries about these sharks and this is the only one that I have ever gone out and bought.

"Air Jaws" is the best great white shark documentary I have ever seen. I watch it over and over again. It is very interesting and at times terrifying! I would hate to be a seal. I can say 2 derrogatory things about the film-1.It is too short! 2.It is not on DVD. I would be all over an extended version on DVD. If you are a fan of the Great White, BUY THIS VIDEO!!!!!

I first witnessed "Air Jaws" on the Discovery Channel, and to my astonishment, I witnessed these Great Whites engaging in a behavior that I have never seen before! These Great Whites were flipping and even jumping out of the water, in order to catch their prey! These Great Whites of South Africa are not only wild, but are not tame as those found along the San Francisco Bay. For those of you who are fans of sharks, and especially the Great Whites, this documentary will amaze you! You will be so glued to the television set, that you will find yourself watching this documentary over and over again! This is not recommended for children under 12, but it is still wonderful!

I have yet to order the video, but I saw the special on The Discovery Channel. I must tell you my peepers were glued to the screen for the entirety of the show. If you enjoy shark specials or any wildlife special for that matter you 'GOTTA' SEE THIS. 20 foot predators weighing a ton (possibly 2) engaging in the most amazing attacks on seals and sea lions complete with high verticals and twist; Michael Jordan would be envious. Amazing camera work... Dr. Rocky is the MAN...

The most exciting and amazing video that seems to capture the very essence of what Hollywood, with near unlimited resources and alleged talent attempts to achieve, but unfortunately more often than not rarely does. This is a "must see" video for those truly interested in the behavior of the Great White. I found it not only to be very exciting, but educational and entertaining surpassing what one would normally experience in a National Geographic Documentary. The entertainment industry could take a few lessons from this production,and we as consumers would all benefit from those lessons by experiencing quality movies and television.

Dr. Rocky Strong came across as particularly knowledgeable, credible and a true scientist interested in Shark behavior. I do hope to experience more videos with this type of excitement from Dr. Rocky Strong and his research team in the future. This would make an excellent weekly series, which would be a certain winner.

WOW is this some film! not too good for small children but it was an incredible film to see. This is definitely unique.
