Model 9012 is an 12-Inch, 3-blade oscillating Wall Mount Fan. The motor is 3-speed, 1/50 HP, 120V, 1 phase, permanently lubricated with a permanent split capacitor. Controls are front mounted - rotary and pull cord switch. Power cord is a white, 7-foot, 3 conductor. SPT type. Metal front grill with impact resistant plastic rear grill and chemical resistant polypropylene blade. Oscillation is 90 degrees and can be locked in non-oscillating position. CFM 930, 780, 620 (High, Medium, Low) RPM 1450, 1300, 1090 (High, Medium, Low) Amps 0.4, 0.3, 0.3 (High, Medium, Low) Watts 39, 35, 32(High, Medium, Low). I can't understand why wall fans are so difficult (impossible?) to find in stores. If you need a fan in a cramped space, or just want to use your desk/shelf space for something else, you need a wall-mount fan. I have a small office, and this 12" fan was just what the doctor ordered. The person who wrote the fan was "wobbly" probably did not mount it properly. You need to read the directions for mounting, because the proper method for mounting is not intuitive. However, once mounted properly it is unusually solid and stable. I'm not sure if I would go so far as the reviewer who wrote that, once the fan was properly mounted, you could hang from it, but that's not far from the truth. This fan has an extra-long cord so you probably won't need to use an extension cord. I like the fact that it has a pull-string to instantly turn off the fan, regardless what speed it is on. It is reasonably quiet and very powerful for its size. I rarely use it on anything more than the lowest speed.

I have to disagree with the wobbly fan person. If you mount it correctly, per the instructions that are included, you can hang from the fan if you wanted to. Now I have two of these in my sun room and they are out of the way mounted on the wall and much more powerful than those cheap fans you get at home depot. Pull string lets me change the fan speed with a short tug I recommend these to anybody with a home garden.

Wobbly fan,

I could only find two fans this size for wall mounting. Unfortunately, it is wobbly. On low speed it is not too bad. But at mid or high speed it is very noisy, rattling against the wall. I think the center axle is slightly off-center, but it could be the plastic blades that screw onto it. I am planning to call the manufacturer to see if they will exchange it.
