Tired of remixes that stray so far from the original song, you wonder what you are listening to? Not so with this one. The remix is beyond excellent. EVERYONE (ages 25-40) that I know that has listened to it LOVES it and now prefers it to the original version (how often does that happen?). It's not a dance remix, it's a remix that is different but keeps with the mood of the original song. My opinion: this is the BEST remix of any song ever made. Buy them up so the record companies will take notice and make some more :-).

When I first heard this song, i was really blown away by it. it is so good, anyone would like it and i highly recommend it. phil collins is an absolute genius.

A few years ago, I was listening to the radio and heard this fantastic, mesmerizing remix of one of my favorite songs of all time, In the Air Tonight. From that day to a few months ago, I had been looking lucklessly for that remix and finally found it with the re-release of the original single of the song. Both the original and remix kick major booty--get it.

This song is the crown jewel of his "Face Value" album, and well worth a listen. It's definitive "Phil Collins" - it's a dark, smoldering, resentment-filled song against an unknown antagonist, that leaves you wondering JUST WHAT it was Phil saw. :-D

For Phil Collins, he has today came a very, very long way since he started his path to solo stardom. Still, it was absolutely bittersweet from the very beginning. Phil was going through a painful divorce, when he wrote In The Air Tonight. Whatever it was, it became Phil's first Top 20 hit, and locked Phil Collins in as a force beyond Genesis. Although it was edited down here, and not the full-length version from Hits and Face Value, it still is just as haunting and surprising as you'd expect from Phil. Still, it is just a shame that people don't respect Phil Collins now, like they used to back in the 1980's. Still, you can't help but enjoy his music.

I heard this version of "in the air tonight" on the radio when I was 7 or 8 years old. It was in 1977 or 1978. I don't remember exactely. I was looking for this song for a long time but could'nt find it and never tried again. Two weeks ago, something pushed me to search this song. And I was so surprised to finally get it!!!

This song was made in 1977. I think it had not the expected comercial success. This CD as been put for sale in 1992. There is a creation date of 1997 which is impossible! It's simply a mistake. For those who want to know more about it, just search on Internet and you'll find links to an article of the "Sunday Examiner and Chronicle".

So don't try to search other versions. They don't exist for official sale. Perhaps if you asked Phil, he would tell you if there's something else ;o)

I don't really dig His Music as much as I once did but certain songs are just still Kicking&this is one of them to Me.I dig the Beat&feel of the song so much still.I felt the the scene He was bringing in this Song.

People!! I'm looking for the Japanese Import. There's so many remixes I want to make sure I'm getting the right one.

I am crazy about this song.
