These cars are simply amazing. Our kids have had endless fun with them. Note, though, that if your walls have any texture at all that it won't work. It does work on wood panelling, but even the slightest texture to wall plaster will prevent it from working.

My son wanted this for Christmas, and what a great gift it turned out to be! I wasn't expecting much, but it's a lot of fun to watch this thing drive up the walls and all over the ceiling! My husband is having as much fun with it as my son. We did find, as someone else had already mentioned, that it does not work on textured walls, which is because it can't acheive suction. It works really well on the smooth walls and ceilings, though! I can't speak for durability yet, as we've only used it for 2 days. Since it's plastic, I would imagine that if it loses a charge and falls from the ceiling, it could break, especially if falling onto a hard surface. As for educational value, I guess if you are going to teach them how suction can be used to defy gravity, it can be educational. :-)

My son is 9 and really enjoys this item. It is however, very noisy. A lot noisier than I had anticipated but he really likes it and that is whats important.

With the fan on, it does not move on the wall without falling every few inches, with the fan off, it cannot run on the floor foward, only backward but barely. Putting some weight on it makes it move a little on the floor but it will not run straight no matter how much one changes the trim setting. The turning control does not work when the car is moving forward or backward. It can turn only when the car is standing. A complete waste of money and time.

The cars are definitely out of the ordinary and very cool. Remote control cars driving on the walls? Awesome. And they work fairly well too. But being so small and so light, they only drive on perfectly smooth surfaces. They're almost completely useless on carpet, and they also got really hung up even on the tiled floor in our kitchen.

The charging is definitely less than ideal, charging the car from batteries within the remote. But then the kids aren't having to deal with outlets, so it's a trade-off. These things will burn through some serious money on batteries.

But they're a cool novelty overall; you can even get a little teaching moment in when discussing suction, air flow, etc. Give 'em a shot!

I was very disappointed with this product. After charging it, it still hardly ran at all. It had no energy whatsoever. It would barely move at all. We ended up returning it.

This product, in theory, is very cool. Yet after 5 minutes it completely stopped working. And, of course, it was Christmas morning and the packaging was somehow lost in craziness, so now I paid practically $50 for a broken crappy car that does nothing. Thanks Air Hogs!

Takes to long to charge on so little run time. Run time is probably less than 5 min. on the wall and maybe alittle more on the ground. Of course its noisy, it has a fan that sucks it too the wall what did you expect?
Overall its an ok toy. It served its purpose and got my 4 year old to stop sucking his thumb. So hey, its way cheeper than braces:)

This Zero Gravity car not only didn't work, I was charged $70 for overnight shipping. Granted I selected overnight by mistake (days before Christmas) and was unable to use my "back" button to fix the error, I felt like I was set up. The car did get here the next day. The car is cheap looking, feeling and like I said didn't work. It doesn't have enough power to move forward, let alone up walls. This is not my first issue with this giant online retailer. But it certainly is my last.
