This pan can be used for anything -- and I mean, ANYTHING. As the average college kid, one can contort all sorts of wonderful foods with this cool multi-purpose pan. I use it for cakes, casseroles, and even heating up things like bread. Its great, and DOES NOT BURN. This is key.
I give it 4 stars because it has an easily scratchable surface.

3.0 out of 5 stars Bakes well, hasn't held up as well as I'd like
I bought this pan a few months ago. I haven't had any problems baking in it -- I really like the fact that cakes and brownies cook more evenly without excessive browning at the edges. Unfortunately every time I cut the cake, brownies, bar cookies or whatever I've made, the knife scars the pan. Scratches and marks are fine -- I'm talking tiny chips and dings coming out of...

(As a note, the cover is NOT for oven-use, which is nice, because when I want to stick the pan in the fridge, I don't have to bother with cling-wrap, or the likes.)

I don't know if this means I've got extra sharp knives or if the pan is made of extra soft metal, but I haven't had similar problems with my other cookware. In the future I'll be careful to use dull knives as much as possible.

5.0 out of 5 stars Burn queen no more., July 27, 2003

I am the infamous queen of burning everything, and this pan really has helped my status. My mom has one of these and I really wanted one. I got it and it is worth it. I love that it comes with it's own lid. I used to make a cake, stick toothpicks all over it and cover it with saran wrap, but now I don't even have to take it out of the pan. Just put on the cover, talk about convenient!!

5.0 out of 5 stars AirBake Cake Pan, September 13, 2005
This review is from: AirBake by WearEver Natural Oblong Baking Pan with Cover (Kitchen)
This is the second of this type cake pan I have owned. The other was ruined due to a cake that was left in it for six weeks while we were out of state. I never use any other kind of pan for my cakes since I have this kind of pan. My cakes always come out level, never stick, never burned or over browned. I also have the cookie sheets and they are great too. I wish I could find a muffin tin but understand they no longer are available.

5.0 out of 5 stars 13 years old, November 5, 2006

I have one of these I got as a wedding present 13 years ago. Still works great! Use a plastic knife to cut brownies and cakes. They don't scratch and the food does not stick to them. This is the best pan ever! Now I'm finally getting the cookie sheets!

I had traditionally used pyrex cake pans and wasn't completely satisfied with the results. Just recently, I purchased the AirBake cake pan after having successful results in their line of cookie sheets. I am completely satisfied with this pan and recommend getting rid of the traditional pyrex!
