My physiotherapist was surprised how fast I had range of motion back after surgery and she thinks it's probably due to this device. So easy, works great, even kept pain low enough that I rarely took any meds. You can even walk around out on crutches with this on because it is self contained. GREAT PRODUCT! So worth getting, trust me....

The cryo cuff is a great product and the service and delivery from the vendor was fantastic. This is the self-contained version of the cryo cuff used by my physical therapist and allows me to ice my problem knee at home while catching up with the newspaper or television. You can trust this vendor to deliver.

It's so much easier than connecting the hose and the cooler, which makes it much more compact for travelling. I'm very happy with my choice.

This cuff is portable and is best for times when you cannot use the cooler and cuff system. For example, I use it for travel b/c I need to ice down several times a day and this easily fits in my carry-on bag so I can ice down anyplace that I can get some ice water (airport, on the flight, hotel, etc.). It's a great product. When you use very cold water with a few ice cubes in it and pump the cuff up for a tight fit, it does a very good job of cooling down your knee.

I bought this aircast prior to my knee surgery, but was given the Knee Cryo/Cuff with Portable Cooler by the hospital. Having used both I would strongly recommend going for the aircast WITH the cooler. This aircast does not distribute the cold water effectively, instead the water is tends to sit only at the top, beneath the opening. The aircast with the cooler is built to distribute the water more evenly throughout the aircast and the cooler circulates the water, allowing one to ice their knee for several hours without having to change the water. I thought the advantage of this aircast is that it is not connected to a cooler, but if you buy the aicast with the cooler, you can still detach the aircast from the cooler, if need be.
Overall, I would not recommend this device. It's absolutely worth it to spend the extra money on the aircast with the cooler.

Not bad, but not even cold distribution,

Overall the cuff is not bad. However, I was disappointed in that it did not distribute the cold evenly over the knee. It's coldest right over the cap, less so down the front of the knee and not at all below the knee. So if you're looking for all around cold, try another product. I did like the air pump as it kept the cuff in contact with the knee, but if I could do it all over again, I would not buy this product.

Cold Cuff- OK,

I was hoping that the cubes would surround the entire knee, but they only cool the front. The cuff does not fit a lot of ice and is only good for one hour. An expensive piece of equipment.
