already had one impact wrench.........but it was crap......i was tired of having an impact and still having to take lug nuts and stuff off with a 4-way.........i started looking around the $100-$150 range for something with some nuts to it.........found this.....it claimed 1000 ft/lbs reverse w/ variable speed forward and avg air consumption around 4cfm which is what my compressor pushes....it came in the mail last week and in the first hour i had my tires rotated on my truck and the blades off of my shredder waiting to be sharpened and put back on.........when i put the lug nuts and shredder bolts back on i used the lowest forward setting possible.........when i put the 4-way on them i couldn't get them any tighter........all in all i am pleased with the product......i don't know about longevity since i've only had it a week but it's very quiet.......you wouldn't think it had that much power just from listening to it.......i'm just a weekend warrior but when i want to get some bolts off usually i don't have time to waste.......as someone who works hard for his money and doesn't come off of it very easily i think this is a great buy.

I'm very happy with this tool. Far better quality than the low cost brands and at least $100 cheaper than other big name tools not to mention how quiet it is. Feel like I can use this on the weekends with out disturbing my neighbors.

I have a small 20 gallon compressor and two inexpensive impact wrenches of which neither could remove the lug nuts from tires. I always figured it was the compressor. I tried this one and with a quick burst and because it is very quiet, I figured like the rest it didn't work. Well, it removed them without any effort. This is an awesome tool that worked great with a small, under powered compressor. Of course, very fast shipping from Amazon.

I am a professional mechanic and use this tool everyday. So far it has performed very well and is comparable to my boss' $450 IR. Definately recommended. Breaks lug nuts loose with ease along with axle nuts and rusted on items.

Comparable power/torque to my industrial 3/4" drive. Rusty axle nuts...no problem removing with the Aircat! A must have addition to your air tools. Pay a few extra bucks & buy the Aircat, you won't regret it!

Purchased less powerful air hammer locally and it was so heavy that it was difficult to use laying down with one arm. The Aircat is light weight which makes it a breeze to use and you will not be disappointed. It was a lot lower cost from amazon as well.

I bought this impact to put on my hand's truck. He was having trouble getting enough power out of a junky Craftsman impact that was less than a year old... This wrench really packs a punch, feels great in the hand, and is very quiet. It hits a little different than other impacts I've used, but it gets the job done. I put it up against my Nitrocat (about 2 years old) and my Dad's SnapOn (about 10 years old), and really couldn't tell any torque difference in the three.

So I bought this as a Christmas gift. My husband found out and really wanted it NOW. He loves it. He said its lite weight and that makes a difference when you are working with it. He said its powerful. He is a mechanic and uses it daily!!

Get one and you will never go back any other brand. This is a true nutbuster.

I've owned the 1000-TH the day it came out. This was a couple years back and I am still very impressed with it's power. I was able to explode two axle sockets with this impact gun running regulated 120psi at the tool. My setup provides massive CFM flow and this gun uses it powerfully. My only dislike is that you have to use two hands to change the fwd/reverse switch. The newer model was revised for one hand action though.
