Product Description

Airforce Airguns TalonP air pistol Precharged pneumatic Single-shot Bolt-action 11mm dovetail (no open sights) 12 barrel 2-stage trigger (adj. for position only) Textured grip 213cc tank 3000 psi max fill pressure Adjustable power wheel Up to 30 shots on low power & up to 12 shots on high power The TalonP is NOT silenced & does not have baffles Thanks to the new Spin-Loc tank and collar, you don't have to remove the gun's air reservoir to fill it. Of course, if you want to, you can remove it easily and attach another one. Carrying an extra filled tank when shooting in the field is a lot easier than carrying a scuba or carbon fiber tank for refills. Most dot sights have Weaver mounts. If you choose one of them, remember to pick up AirForce's 11mm-to-Weaver adapter listed in the accessories link. The AirForce TalonP PCP pistol is heavier than most air pistols and cannot be comfortably held the way most pistols are held and still result in reliable, repeatable accuracy. A comfortable hold is with one hand on the pistol grip and the other holding the top of the scope. If you assume a sitting position, you can hold the grip with one hand and rest the gun's forearm on your off hand's forearm. These two positions will draw the pistol much closer to your eye, and you can mount a rifle scope on the TalonP air pistol. A pistol scope could also be mounted, but there are more choices among rifle scopes.... AirForce TalonP PCP Air Pistol, Spin-Loc Tank, .25 Cal...

Airforce rifles are set apart by being completely customizable. You can swap barrels both caliber and length. You can change tanks and use high pressure air or CO2 and tons of other mods. The TalonP is like a gateway drug into the Airforce world. It is the cheapest way to get started. It is not the right gun for everyone however.
What it is not is a pistol. It is more like a carbine without a stock. You will not use it as it comes. You will need a scope and will likely add a stock of some kind. I built my own muzzle shroud to quiet it down as it is very loud as it comes. If you want to shoot little holes in paper on a nice summers day off you deck get the TalonSS. If you want to hunt things or make bigger holes this might be for you. If you have more money and don't care about the size buy the condor. I got the spin-lock tank so it has the gauge and can be filled on the gun. Adding the DIY muzzle took it from sounding like a .22lr to disconnecting an air tool. More puff and less sharp whack. A few places sell muzzles but you can make your own. I used 1" outer diameter aluminum tubing. So why buy something that needs to be changed? With only a bit of work I have a very quiet .25cal round that can responsibly drop game up to 100 pounds out to 75 yards yet is small and light weight. I was close to getting a big Korean PCP rifle but they are much bigger, can't be easily silenced, cost more, and can't be changed later if I want something different. If you later want something with a longer barrel you can swap it out and make the gun be what you want. The valve that comes with it is made to dump a LOT of air fast and should not but used with .177 but you can get a different valve later. The trigger is odd. It doesn't pull straight back like a 1911 but pivots from the top.
