An ounce of prevention..., October 18, 2005
This review is from: Airborne Effervescent Health Formula Tablets, Jr. Grape, 10-Count Tubes (Health and Beauty)
I use this with my school age kids (6 and 11). They take one every morning before school to ward off germs/disease.
So far it really has been working! The real test will be during the winter months:)

Excellent Product !, September 12, 2006
This review is from: Airborne Effervescent Health Formula Tablets, Jr. Grape, 10-Count Tubes (Health and Beauty)
I think this should be a standard product to have for any parent. Kids pick up everything from the school and daycare environment. We tend to take children to the doctor at the drop of a hat for antibiotics, but do nothing to help them with their natural immune system. I am so excited this product was developed. I have 5 children and 12 grandchildren. This is something I am VERY familiar with. I was babysitting one of my grandchildren that was dropped of with a cold. They layed down on the couch with a stuffy nose. I gave them Airborne Jr and in 20 minutes the stuffy nose was gone and they were up off the couch playing. My household will never be without it.

What are her medical qualifications?, December 20, 2005
This review is from: Airborne Effervescent Health Formula Tablets, Jr. Grape, 10-Count Tubes (Health and Beauty)
This product seems popular but I have not yet seen any sign that Ms Knight-McDowell has any medical qualifications. The product is advertised as "created by a school teacher" (second grade) and the last I knew neither medicine nor pharmacology were on the curriculum.
If perhaps Ms Knight-McDowell were to produce qualifications beyond that of "second grade teacher" I would be more prone to consume this "drug" she has created, however... since there has been nothing shown as of yet, I'll abstain from listening to the hype.
Besides, if one goes to the web page, one might want to take notice that the product is not FDA approved. Like most "supplements" there's no real guarantee that it works. I suspect some of the "positive results" that people are obtaining with this product are along the lines of "placebo effect" - that one feels better simply because one expects to.
Personally, if I think I may get ill from taking a flight on a plane - which has never happened to me as of yet - I'd simply make use of the countless over-the-counter cold medications that actually have FDA approval instead of some product with a questionable background.
