I had a lingering cold / sore throat symptoms once a couple of years ago and I bought these in a healthy food store to try them out. Turns out they were just about the best lozenges I've ever tried. They work exceptionally, taste great and last a long time. Very soothing

To be honest, I don't like the effervescent "Airborne". It's too inconvenient to use and too expensive. Too bad the store I went to stopped carrying these lozenges, because I won't buy the fizzy kind. Really glad I found them on Amazon, even with the shipping they're a good deal. Buy about 4 boxes, you'll need them and they last at least a year so no worries if you think they'll go bad. If you're a teacher or have kids trust me you'll need them even more.

The only drawback I found to these is the foil packaging inside isn't resealable, though you can fold it over and they stay almost as fresh. And the lozenges are assorted fruit, but the packages I got were almost all 'grape' inside. I would prefer more cherry, orange, and lemon.

But other than that, these rock. AND THEY DON'T SELL THESE AT TARGET, despite what you read in other reviews. Buy them!

I had the worst sore throat and swollen glands and it was a holiday weekend, so the doctor's office was closed. I had a box of these in, tried them, and they were AMAZING. The ONLY thing that actually made my sore throat feel better. Took these along with some homeopathic meds and now that the doctor's office will be open tomorrow, I feel so much better, there's no need to go. Recommend HIGHLY for adults as well as children (who can handle chewing these). The taste is GREAT, and they REALLY WORK! I am going to buy 10 more myself. Can't find them in any local stores nearby, so ordering off amazon right NOW so I will have them in the house from now on! FABULOUS PRODUCT!

These gummi lozenges were the only thing that could stop my hacking cough when I had acute bronchitis. I tried all the regular stuff. I don't care if they don't boost the immune system, stop H1NI yada yada to the naysayers. These gummi bears release a coating that stops coughs, taste great, no bad aftertaste, no sleepiness, and doesn't upset my stomach if I take one on an empty stomach. Other types of coating products (honey, regular gummi bears, all other throat/cough remedies) did NOT work. I had Bronchitis for 6 weeks and had to teach - if i took one of these before teaching, I was good for the entire 60 minute lecture period; then took a 2nd after the class and no coughing. I'm dissapointed because for some reason it seems the have discontinued them - I can't find them anywhere!!

Alright, the first thing I always look for on these types of products is the active ingredients. Believe it or not, these lozenges have absolutely no medication in them. Ok, they are supposed to just boost your immune system I guess? Nope. Has trace amounts of anything that might conceivably boost your immune system (Vitamin C, Zinc, etc). The information on the box provides no explanation as to how this product could actually help my sore throat. In fact, the only thing they really want me to know apparently is that A second grade teacher came up with it. I don't see how that is supposed to reassure me that my throat will miraculously get better.

I thought to myself, what the hell, may as well try them out. I buy a box and start sucking, about an hour and a whole box of these things later, I'm not the only one sucking (the lozenges are sucking too, at helping my throat). These lozenges do absolutely nothing. The only thing this third grade teacher thought up was a gimmick. I mean seriously, the only way anyone could seriously get better from these is either the placebo effect in action, or you could conceivably down a box every 4 hours to possibly benefit from the zinc, but you are better off getting some zicam.

In conclusion, you need only one word to associate with Airborne, and that is gimmick.

... if you really want to boost your immune system, common sense is in order. Eat healthy organic and non-genetically modified foods, such as fruits and veggies (including raw garlic); try to stay fit (exercise... even walk half hour a day) and don't become obese; have good fiber intake; try to eliminate all trans fats and most saturated fats from your diet; laugh a lot and try not to stress out over things; get at least 15 minutes or so of good direct sunlight so your body can naturally synthesize Vitamin D. The aforementioned will do a LOT more to keep your immune system in top shape as compared to an 'Airborne' product!

IT'S AMAZING HOW A LITTLE COMMON SENSE CAN TURN INTO A MILLION YOU KNOW WHAT'S. AS SOON AS I TRIED THESE I REALIZED HOW MUCH BETTER THEY ARE THAN THE USUAL THROAT LOZENGES. WHY? BECAUSE OTHERS CAUSE YOU TO SUCK ON THEM, AND THIS STRAINS YOUR THROAT MUSCLES, WHICH IS BAD. GUMMI LOZENGES, IT'S GENIUS. WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF IT. THEN AGAIN, I DID, BUT I DIDN'T CREATE AIRBORNE WHICH IS WONDERFUL IN ITSELF. REALLY, THESE LOZENGERS ARE GREAT. AT NIGHT IF YOU USE ONE THEY JUST STAY PRETTY MUCH STUCK TO THE SIDE OF YOUR THROAT AND YOU CAN FALL ASLEEP WITHOUT EVEN THE THOUGHT THAT YOU COULD SHALLOW IT AND CHOKE. JUST REMEMBER HOW LONG IT TAKES FOR A NORMAL LOZENGE TO DISOLVE WITHOUT BITTING IT ( EVEN THEN ). THESE GO PRETTY QUICK, AND WITHOUT CREWING ( WHICH IS THE BEST WAY TO USE THEM ). I MYSELF TRY TO ALWAYS HAVE THEM IN THE HOUSE. YOU SHOULD, AND WILL DO THE SAME AFTER YOU TRY THEM. ALSO THE PRICE ON AMAZON IS THE BEST. I'M ABOUT TO ORDER 10 BOXES ( WOULD ORDER MORE BUT FOR THE SHIPPING CHARGE, WHICH EVEN WITH IS STILL CHEAPER THEN TARGET ). MAYBE THE OWNER SHOULD PUT ME ON THE PAYROLL.
