Well written book for the aviation major or graduate degree. A good read that includes both technical data for the engineer and plenty of information for the layman

The science of aircraft accident investigation is a very small field (and hopefully getting smaller every year!) but this book continues to be an important textbook for the practice of accident investigation. Well worth a read, if you need knowledge in this area.

The book has its advantages, one being it defines investigation areas well. The text could use a little more punch to it, yet overall it provides some good information.

This book helps to capture the complex nature of accident investigation and delivers the subject in plain language. A must have.

I figured that a textbook based on aircraft accidents would at least be an interesting read, but that's definitely not the case. The text is very dry and the authors seem to spend quite a bit of it based on their opinions. There is an entire chapter involving photography, but focuses on types of cameras/lens/film that the authors prefer rather than on photographing the accident. I was very disappointed in how uninteresting they could make this subject.

The email I received about shipping estimates said I shouldn't expect this item before October 13th even though I purchased it Sept 20th. I thought that was crazy and was hoping that it would arrive a lot faster than that. I had purchased this book for a Embry Riddle class my husband was taking online and because of technical glitches within the school system he was already joining the class one week later than everyone else. (at the end of the add/drop deadline). But to our great satisfaction the book arrived by Friday..(sept 24th) even though I didn't pay for any kind of expedited shipping. Sufficed to say....we are very pleased with the item we received, in the condition it arrived and with the time it took to arrive. Nothing too fancy but great overall service. Thanks.

The book wasn't missing any pages, but it was in a very poor condition some pages were bent, has alot of pen and black marker all around the book.
Shipping was very poor it took more than 3 weeks for my book to arrive.

The book is just another school book. I had no issues with the sender of the book it came in the time period expected and was brand new as advertised.
