This book is very limited as is the author. I have seen his work on the internet web pages and his work in the different magazines. This book is okay if all that you need is paint advice on WWII aircraft or older, but do not expect to see anything of worth having to do with painting modern aircraft. I am constantly on the look for any book offering advice on painting and weathering modern aircraft, but I have yet to find one. This book cover shows a modern aircraft but the book has a very limited article and does nothing to explain how to paint or weather modern aircraft. Just frustrated because of the fact that no one has taken the time to go into modern aircraft. It was the same info you will find in monthly magazines, old aircraft. I like to work with some of the older stuff from time to time but give me MODERN!!! |
