This is a unique tool for twisting electrical or other type wires. Jaws lock onto wires needed to be twisted and spring-loaded twist device does the work for you. Works great. Sure beats twisting wires with regular pliers. Very useful for pig-tailing or preping wires for handy boxes. I'd recommend it for anyone who's doing lots of electrical wiring or re-wiring.

Its quality equipment. Its well made it you shouldn't be dissappointed while twisting your safety wire. There are cheaper ones I considered buying, but I made a good choice with this one. I hope that helps.

Feels rather cheap and has weak spring tension causing it to not be able to twist much wire. Cannot even twist up house wiring, 12 gauge aluminum, or 12 gauge coated soft steel which are all different degrees of stiffness. Maybe it works better on very fine bare wire which defeats the purpose since fine gauge is so easy to twist up. These are claimed to be used in aircraft wiring. Maybe a higher quality one. But they were cheap$$. Recommend getting a higher quality if you want them to be usable.
